Hello! I’m Andrea
Since obtaining my degree in Service Design at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), I have worked on various design projects in the United States and other countries, which have allowed me to develop key skills to function in dynamic environments. In my last position at Walmart, I had the opportunity to work alongside more than 60 UX designers and lead projects both on the platform for sellers and in the app for the end user. Working in such a complex ecosystem and having to deliver solutions for users in so many countries has allowed me to develop excellent communication with stakeholders and thus work effectively in cross-functional teams.
My experience working in the technology industry and building products over the years has taught me the importance of being actively involved and understanding the entire development process. To enhance my contribution, I also learned how to code. I am proficient in HTML and CSS, which enables me to build websites from the ground up and facilitates clearer, more effective communication with developers when collaborating in large team.
Wellness is my passion
I have been involved in movement starting from dance and getting into yoga, climbing, and functional training. After discovering service design I quickly understood that wellness and digital transformation are inseparable from each other.
I’ve fallen in love with the balanced healthy lifestyle that I have found and I am confident I can contribute to the accessibility of healthy habits for a large population by transforming the way wellness services function. However, it is urgent to understand — when implementing service design thinking — digital alone isn’t enough. Online and offline channels must be treated at every touchpoint.
